Lee County Withdraws Notice of Violations
On Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, Lee County Code Enforcement held a hearing in which the County formally withdrew its notice of violations against The Club at Renaissance. We are pleased with this outcome, which allows us to continue our operations, as The Club at Renaissance has done since inception under all owners. To review the transcript of the hearing, please click here.
Separately, for well over a year, The Club at Renaissance has negotiated with the RCA, the neighborhood homeowners association, to update agreements between The Club and the RCA on shared expenses and membership terms, as well as address and alleviate any differences or misunderstandings between The Club and the RCA.
According to the sales contract pursuant to which Concert Renaissance purchased the property in 2022, the Club is only obligated to do what is within the covenants of the contract. While The Club, in good faith, made proposals and offered concessions that were over and above its contractual obligations, a small group of litigious residents launched unfounded accusations and made unreasonable demands that went far beyond the scope of the purchase agreement.
This group even went so far as to orchestrate the filing of the pending Code Enforcement complaints against The Club, in an effort to gain leverage in those negotiations.
There have been many misunderstandings and even some false statements made in the community. Our goal here is to present facts, so that local residents can understand what The Club at Renaissance is doing to address the untrue and unjust claims made by this small faction of residents.
